When we wander a new place like rookies in the new, we always look for local sublimes. Like the best coffee in town, an awesome view behind a fense or a local bakery rich of history. All the stuff only locals know or know how to appreciate. So, to start off the LOCALS CHOICE SERIES we asked some of the locals in our home town The Hague about their favorite hang outs and local sublimes.

“No pretentious rules or unaffordable drinks” – … we’re listening!
PIP is founded by local heroes David Schoch and Steven van Lummel, they throw the most wonderful, ridiculous events in PIP club, the Hague. Marije says: “With every event they try to set up something new and never seen before, always with a great line-up”.
Marije is not only a fan of the parties at PIP, she also admires the raw environment: “Located at the Binck; a beautiful and old industrial setting, makes PIP the perfect place to dance, dress up and party like nowhere else in the city”.
While you’re visiting PIP you should also check out some other friends of Marije: “Located in the same building as PIP is De Kijm & Zonen, a screen-printing studio by Donzige Deef and Thomas Klaui. Besides great prints they make crazy artwork, worthwhile to be seen”.

Marije just came back from a project in the US for her second line – MdH, wich will be in stores in 2014! MdH will be a more conceptual style than the Marije de Haan brand.
