Inspired by their girlfriend’s Sex and the City magazine cover, the dynamic duo Dylan & Jaimy Schmitt realized SoHo – New York should be the main source of inspiration for their very own restaurant. After about 6 months of refurnishing the place in the heart of The Hague, they could finally start living the dream.
We love the atmosphere at SOUTH OF HOUSTON – The authentic brick wall, the eye for detail, the framed mustaches and ofcourse the dry aged meat in the coolers. That’s what they do best, serving dry aged meat. For some of you it may take some time getting used to, but it tastes so much better! You should really try it some time!
With both 12 years of experience in the business, these gentlemen know what they’re doing. They only openend in december 2012, but already had business meetings, are planning American BBQ’s in SOUTH OF HOUSTON’s backyard and even have a booking for a wedding upcoming summer!
