Go shopping in Saigon!

Saigon is the place to be for the hip and the happening in Vietnam. A definitely must see shop/ café/ gallery is L’Usine. It’s a place for original gifts, beautiful jewelry, clothing and homeware. The retail area is a also a platform for young creatives, the gallery (combined with the retail space) showcases exhibitions and live performances that change monthly. In both of the affiliates you can have a yummy bite and fresh coffee as well.

When you want to go shopping in Saigon, there are a few places you should definitely visit. One of our favorites in Saigon, Vietnam, is L’Usine. Not only because they sell Amaï ceramique, but mostly because of the contemporary Vietnamese shopping experience – as I (and L’Usine themselves) like to call it.

Shopping in Saigon

Shopping in Vietnam is hard if you’re looking for quality. There’s a lot of ‘same-same’ and it’s not good. L’Usine is a very welcome change to that. The shops offer high quality clothing of local and imported brands. Especially the homeware collection is worth a compliment.

Where to find L’Usine

L’Usine has 2 affiliates in Saigon. Both in interesting neighborhoods where you can find other tourist attractions and upcoming initiatives in Saigon. Btw, the pictures above where taken at L’Usine Le Loi!
151 Dong Khoi St, 1st Floor, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (in the same building as this meatball restaurant!)
70 Lê Lợi, Bến Thành, Hồ Chí Minh Vietnam

Saigon was one of our stops during a second Vietnam backpack (deluxe) tour. Are you planning a trip to Vietnam? Have a look at our Vietnam wall of inspiration on where to go in Vietnam!
